FC Luzern says goodbye to 9 players after Super League season. Among them are goalkeepers Laura Schneider, Nadja Furrer and Jil Beetschen, defenders Lynn Häring and Bettina Brülhart, midfielders Jamie Kenel, Juliana Müller and Gentiana Fetaj, and striker Serena Li Puma. Häring played for the Luzernerinnen since 2014 and made the jump from the own youth department to the AWSL team. The 26-year-old played 170 official games and was part of the 2021 cup-winning team. Basel's women's football leader, Fabian Sangines, leaves the club on his own request. The 37-year-old justifies his departure with different opinions on the further development of FCB women's football. Sangines took over the overall responsibility for women's football in June 2025 and was also responsible for the operation of the youth department. The Basel women's team finished the last Super League season in third place.
